Scientific Games to provide its technology to the Oklahoma Lottery
American lottery technology provider Scientific Games Corporation has signed a contract with the Oklahoma Lottery that will see it supply lottery systems and services including terminals and state-wide communication technology.
New York-based Scientific Games revealed that the year-long contract, which includes nine one-year extension options, was secured following a competitive procurement process and is set to begin from August 9.
“The Oklahoma Lottery has been a valued customer since its launch in 2005, one of the fastest implementations ever in the industry, and we are pleased to continue our successful partnership,” said Pat McHugh, North American Lottery Systems President for Scientific Games.
“We are looking forward to collaborating with the Oklahoma Lottery to contribute more returns to education in the state.”
The Oklahoma Lottery generated $208 million in retail sales and returned $73 million to education last year with Scientific Games declaring that the deal will also see it provide instant ticket printing, warehousing and distribution along with technical and sales staff.
“Scientific Games has been a great partner over the last eight years,” said Rollo Redburn, Executive Director for the Oklahoma Lottery Commission.
“With its help, we can continue to focus on growing our revenues and driving efficiencies in order to provide more money for Oklahoma education.”
