Razon plans its expansion
Philippine billionaire Enrique Razon has indicated that he would like to expand his gambling industry interests.
Razon, who owns the $1.2 billion (€900 million) Solaire, the Manila casino resort that opened in March, is interested in markets with established rules for gaming licenses, such as Macau and parts of Latin America.
“We just have to build the brand,” Razon said.
The businessman expects Macau’s government to allow new entrants into the world’s largest gambling hub in 2020 as existing licenses start expiring.
