Partnership between Hasbro and EA to launch Monopoly titles
Leading casual games provider Electronic Arts (EA) has teamed up with toy and board game company Hasbro to launch Monopoly Bingo and Monopoly Slots for mobile and tablet devices.
The Monopoly-themed bingo game gives players the chance to enjoy traditional Monopoly game play within a bingo environment.
Featuring ‘Chance’ mini-game rewards and ‘Lucky Number’ bonuses, the title allows players to collect virtual rewards with each win, such as Monopoly properties, tokens, and house and hotel upgrades.
In addition, the Monopoly Bingo Fall Feast room is now open for a limited time and comes complete with exclusive collection items and a seasonal-themed token.
Meanwhile, Monopoly Slots gives players the chance to spin and win through various Monopoly-themed slot machines.
Players can double their luck with Twin 3x3s or opt for the higher level of 3×5 slots. The title also features unlockable slot themes, bonuses and mini-games.
Monopoly Bingo is currently available on Apple’s App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. Monopoly Slots will be rolled out globally via the App Store in the coming weeks.
“We've taken two of the most-time tested game mechanics, bingo and slots, and paired them with Monopoly, the world's favourite game brand, to create two unique mobile experiences that will give fans a simple and easy way to collect their favourite properties, tokens and other aspects of the Monopoly world they've come to love over the years,” EA’s senior vice-president and general manager, Chip Lange, said.
