New mobile slots premiered at Probability
Specialist mobile gambling software provider Probability has announced the launch of six high-definition mobile slots designed for use with iOS, Android and Blackberry devices.
Probability stated that the new games have been developed in-house over the past year utilising an innovative HTML5 and server framework enabling the ‘fastest, highest quality mobile gaming experience possible outside of native apps’ for the ‘most sophisticated smartphones and tablets for both iOS and Android’.
Available to ‘white-label’ customers as well as players enjoying Probability’s own LadyLuck’s and Moobile brands, the new high-definition mobile slots include Long John’s Silver, Poseidon’s Kingdom, War Zone, Pots Of Plenty, Way Of The Slot and Samurai Vs Zombies, which are based on characters and themes licensed from developer Glu Mobile Incorporated.
“Customer expectations are incredibly high and HTML5 has always struggled to deliver against the native app experience,” said Charles Cohen, Chief Executive Officer for London-based Probability.
“But the new breeds of smartphone and recent upgrades to iOS and Android operating systems have given us the platform to deliver a gaming experience that is as good if not better than even the best native apps out there. With this new technology allied to our Slot-O-Matic development platform, we will be able to offer more of the highest quality games in more markets than any other provider.”
Probability declared that it intends to upgrade ‘its most popular games across its catalogue to the new format’ while all future titles are to feature a high-definition versions.
“Customers will immediately notice sharper graphics, which scale accurately on high-resolution displays, sound synchronised to the on-screen action, smoother animations and a more responsive player interface all packaged into a smaller [and] faster download than ever before,” read a statement from Probability.
“The high-definition technology extends Probability’s existing Slot-O-Matic game development platform, which was rolled out earlier this year. Slot-O-Matic was developed by Probability to address the increasing fragmentation of the mobile device base and automates the complex processes and regression testing involved in porting applications between thousands of different device profiles.”
