MWO leads Costa Bingo’s new marketing campaign
Free online bingo company Costa Bingo, part of the BGO group of bingo brands, has launched a new marketing campaign as part of a move to build brand awareness in the highly competitive market.
Creative agency MWO has been selected to lead the campaign, for which Costa Bingo has allocated a £4m ($6.4m/€4.8m) budget.
The campaign will consist of a number of CGI-animated adverts that will run until the end of the year – with a new campaign due to begin in January 2014.
The 10-second adverts will be run in key primetime slots by UK commercial broadcaster ITV1.
New creatives are being finalised to continue to momentum of free bingo adverts, with an autumn shoot scheduled for locations in the UK and overseas.
“We are confident that the direction planned for Costa Bingo will assert its position on the online bingo leader board,” Christian Colton, BGO chief marketing officer, said.
“Right now, it is important to maintain an on-screen presence for the brand as research shows that players are back from their summer holidays and returning to online gaming.”
