First mobile app premiered by Health Lottery
The Health Lottery launched its free downloadable app last week on the App Store, offering its users the possibility of making transactions in-app for the first time.
The Health Lottery said it “had to work closely with Apple to ensure the app adheres to their strict guidelines for gambling products”.
Dominic Mansour, chief executive of The Health Lottery, said: “We are extremely proud to be the first lottery company to offer players the chance to buy lottery tickets in-app. We have been working very hard putting this groundbreaking app together, and are delighted that it will now be even easier for players to play The Health Lottery. This app represents the first of many new digital developments across The Health Lottery, as we work hard to widen our digital product offering.”
The app was built by Blackmobile Solutions, the two groups will continue adding features to the app, which is currently available on iPhone with an Android version in the pipeline. So far The Health Lottery has raised more than £37.6 million for good causes, and over 1 million players have won £60.5m between them.
