Golden Gaming signed a slot route deal with Strategic Gaming in North Nevada
Gaming operator Golden Gaming has announced it has reached an agreement to acquire the slot route operations and 870 slot machines of Strategic Gaming Management in Northern Nevada.
The deal will increase the slot route empire of Golden Route Operations (GRO), a subsidiary of Golden Gaming.
Strategic Gaming Management currently operates in 110 locations across the US state of Nevada, including supermarkets, bars and truck stops.
The addition of Strategic Gaming Management’s slot machines will increase the total of GRO gaming devices in Nevada to 8,000 across 700 locations.
Jimmy Wadhams, director of Northern Nevada operations for GRO, will retain leadership of the subsidiary.
In addition, Craig Soper, a former Strategic Gaming team member, will take the role of lead Northern Nevada account representative.
“The size and resources of this combined entity will allow for the integration and advancement of best-in-class technology and innovative player rewards programs which will give GRO's route partners an unprecedented menu of options to improve their business," Golden Gaming’s chief executive officer, Blake Sartini, said.
Golden Gaming will assume management of the Strategic Gaming slot route on January 1, 2014.
