Golden Gaming and Treasure Island’s commercial agreement approved
Gaming operators Golden Gaming and Treasure Island have received preliminary approval from Nevada state regulators in the US to finalise a commercial agreement, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The newspaper reported that the agreement would allow Golden Gaming to sign up customers from its three Pahrump casinos and its 40 wholly-owned state-wide taverns to play online poker through Treasure Island, whose planned website will be operated by 888 Holdings.
Under the deal, Golden Gaming would share income from the venture with Treasure Island and 888.
“It’s unique and allows Golden Gaming to market 888’s platform to its customers,” Golden Gaming attorney Michael Alonso told the Gaming Control Board.
Alonso added that the marketing agreement would take effect when Treasure Island launches its website.
The Nevada Gaming Commission still has to finalise the agreement on September 26.
