C5 Alliance will enhance Itex eGaming services

IT consultancy the Alliance Group has announced plans to enhance the eGaming services offered by Itex after it recently completed an acquisition of the technology company.

Itex has provided eGaming solutions for the past seven years to many eGaming business regulated by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, the licensing authority for the Adlerney and Guernsey Channel Islands. Services have included on-island hosting through data centers and full technical support.

Following the completion of the acquisition, the firm remains the only data centre operator in the Channel Islands that is not owned by a telecommunications company – and C5 Alliance is keen to strengthen its market position further.

'We want to leverage the expertise we have available in our company to elevate Itex eGaming solutions to a new level,' Mark Loane, chief executive officer of the C5 Alliance Group, said.

'Following our acquisition of Itex Holdings Limited, we have over 150 IT experts and qualified consultants providing business solutions, IT services and outsourcing. Some of C5 Alliance’s employees have very niche skill sets, which could be put to good use in the context of eGaming.'

Robin Le Prevost, director of e-commerce development for the Alderney government, added: 'It is positive news that the C5 Alliance Group is going to add additional services to Itex’s core offering, enabling those companies hosting their operations in the islands to add further value to their business.'
