Acquisition of The Player Channel by Ginx
International games-centric television platform Ginx has completed the acquisition of European gaming cable and satellite-television network The Player Channel.
According to the Mcvuk.com website, Ginx will now be available to 13 million homes in France as well as 3.5 million households in Germany.
In addition, Ginx will also expand its advertising operations to provide specific advertising opportunities for UK, French and various pan-European markets.
“Video gaming is about to enter another golden age with the upcoming launches of next-generation gaming consoles,” chief executive officer of Ginx, Michiel Bakker, said.
“So it goes without saying that video gaming has resolutely entered the mainstream.
